Kirsten is the author of So You Want to Be a Modern Homesteader? and a freelance writer on the homesteading lifestyle. She and her husband moved to Hostile Valley Farm in 2016 and restored the farm from a state of overgrowth and abandonment. She uses her goats, sheep, and pigs for land management and will take you on a tour of the farm, showcasing how these animals can be used in harmony with nature to create a beautiful environment.
Class includes a farm fresh lunch and other refreshments.
Attendees will recieve a copy of Angela's new book, The Sustainable Homestead.
